Day 13 of 23 Day Trial
Besides not being able to fall asleep at 9:30 like I hope, I have been struggling with a cold which makes sleep far more challenging. I have sleep apnea and have to sleep with a constant air pressure machine to keep me from snoring and waking constantly through the night. But with a cold it becomes very difficult when your suppose to breath through your nose and its plugged. I think these two things combined are making this early rising thing a bit more of a challenge than it ought to be.
Really it is only the first five to ten minutes that I struggle and then I’m up and moving and feel good about myself. I have been dependent on coffee and diet pop throughout the morning and into the afternoon to keep me moving. I think it might be affecting my ability to sleep at my desired time. I haven’t decided quite yet, but I think next months trial will be to cut caffeine from my diet.



Ohh, I was hoping your cold might be better… relying on caffeine is not great but if it helps for now, so be it. Perhaps try reducing it a little every day and see how you go?

I am beginning to think this cold will never end. My son has it now.
